Coach White came to Cisco after eight years as the Assistant Coach at Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas. Originally from Rising Star, Texas, he was a three sport standout in football, basketball, and track. He was also the state champion in the pole vault his senior year. Coach White received his Bachelor’s degree from Howard Payne University, where he was also a standout on the baseball team. He earned all conference honors all four years (89-92) and was the conference player of the year in 1992. He also earned All-Region honors in both 1991 & 1992. He then served two years as a graduate assistant under the legendary Jack Allen at Tarleton State University, where he also earned his Master’s degree. Coach White started the program here at Cisco College and is currently in his 19th year. Coach White and his wife Marla have two children, Aurie (27) and Devin (18).
