Coach Berglund is entering his first year at Cisco College.

Berglund, a former Wrangler, returns to Cisco after a long professional career. Berglund was a standout catcher at Texas Tech, starting in 49 games behind the plate and hitting .307 as a freshman, while also being named to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team. Berglund then transferred to Cisco College, and was a standout player hitting .387 with 11 HR. His 2018 Wrangler team finished the year 54-6, climbing up to #2 in the NJCAA National Rankings.

Berglund was drafted in the 8th round (240th overall) by the Tampa Bay Rays following his spring at Cisco. Berlgund signed with the Rays, forgoing his commitment to the University of Arizona. Berglund enjoyed a long career in professional baseball, making it up to AA with the Montgomery Biscuits (Rays) and the Akron Rubber Ducks (Guardians). With the Guardians, Berglund received an invite to Big League Spring Training, twice. Berlgund's spent his career in professional baseball with the Tampa Bay Rays and the Cleveland Guardians. 

At Cisco, Berglund works with the catchers and hitters. On gamedays, Berglund serves as the first base coach.
