The Cisco College women's soccer team lost to #7 Hill College 4-0 in a Region 5 road matchup at Gateway Park in Fort Worth, TX.
Hill College would open the scoring in the 23rd minute and would take the 1-0 into halftime.
Hill would add a second goal 12 minutes into the second half to add to their lead. They would end up adding two more goals to solidify their victory.
Coach McGibeny had this to say about the game,
"I thought we came and played a really solid first half. That was some of the best that our team has looked in possession of the ball. Our girls put a lot of effort into this game and I don't think the final score portays how they played today. We just need to continue to take the positives from this game and build on them in our matchup with Ranger on Friday."
With the loss, the Lady Wranglers fall to 1-7-1 on the season and 0-4-1 in Region 5 play. Next, they will host Ranger College at Chesley Field in the final Region 5 matchup of the season on Friday, October 8th at 2:00 PM.
