This past Friday at Eastfield College, freshman Marta Crespo and sophomore Thaiza Gonclaves scored as the Lady Wranglers soccer team picked up their first win of the season with 2-0 shutout victory over the Eastfield Harvesters.

• The Lady Wranglers used all three goalkeepers, Geraldine Rubio, Celeste Guzman, and Madalynn Flores, to combine for the first shutout victory for Cisco since 2019.
• Cisco dominated the match from the beginning having multiple shots hit the posts but ulitimately both teams battled to a 0-0 halftime score.
• Thaiza Goncalves started the scoring in the 57th minute with her first goal of the season off of the assist from Adora Lumpkin-Nevarez, her first of the season as well.
• Marta Crespo would join in on the score sheet in the 72nd minute with her second goal of the season off the corss from Jennifer Cruz, her first assist of the season.

The Lady Wranglers move to 1-3-1 on the season and will host #7 Hill College on Sunday, September 19th at Chesley Field. Kickoff is at 12pm.
