Congrats to Zanyra who was NTJCAC Player of the Week! Z earned the award for the first week of play in the second semester-Dec 31 to Jan 6.

Zanyra Adams of Cisco College and Nick Shogbonyo of McLennan Community College were selected the Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference's women's and men's basketball Players of the Week.

A 5-8 freshman guard from San Antonio, Texas, Adams was named the NTJCAC women's Player of the Week after turning in a solid outing for the Lady Wranglers. In her three games last week, she averaged a double-double in scoring and rebounding while guiding the Lady Wranglers to a 3-0 mark. Overall, she poured in 64 points, including 30 against Coastal Bend and 20 more against Western Gulf College. She closed out the week with 14 against Western Oklahoma State College. Adams also registered 35 rebounds, while accounting for nine assists while shooting 68 percent from the floor.
