Wranglers Rally Against Hill at Home

Saturday, March 23rd

Game 1 

Cisco College was strong in the circle and defeated Hill, 2-0. The Wranglers got on the board in the second inning after Kalee Luna hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run. Grogan earned the win for Cisco, she surrendered two hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out five and walking two. Mia Wimmer also drove in a run for the Wranglers, while Julia Saucedo stole two bases. 

Game 2 

The Wranglers came back from a 13-3 deficit in help from Mikaela Salinas, who drove in five runs on four hits to lead Cisco to victory on Saturday. She doubled in the fourth inning scoring two, doubled in the sixth scoring two, and hit a solo home run in the first. The Wranglers made the score 3-2 in the bottom of the first with back to back home runs from Taylor Ramirez and Salinas. Bethany Gonzalez earned the win for the Wranglers giving up only two hits and zero runs over four innings. In total Cisco tallied 17 hits in the comeback against Hill College, ending in a 14-13 victory. 

The Wranglers will travel to McLennan CC this Wednesday, March 27th at 5:00pm and 7:00pm.
