Cisco College Wranglers Nabs Win Over Ranger College Despite Early 3-Run Inning

Cisco College Wranglers weathered a scare by Ranger College in the first inning where Cisco College Wranglers coughed up three runs, but Cisco College Wranglers still won 6-3 on Monday. Ranger College scored its runs on a home run by Macie Reeves.

Ranger College got on the board in the first inning when Reeves homered on a 0-2 count, scoring three runs.

Cisco College Wranglers pulled away for good with four runs in the third inning. In the third Lauren Aleman drew a walk, scoring one run, Sara Papizan singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, and Taylor Epperson doubled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.

Nikki Rameriez led the Cisco College Wranglers to victory on the rubber. The righty went seven innings, allowing three runs on four hits and striking out one.

Kailee Loving took the loss for Ranger College. Loving allowed seven hits and six runs over three and a third innings, striking out two.
