Cisco College Wranglers notched five runs in the fifth inning. The big inning was thanks to walks by Bailey Buck and Lauren Aleman, a single by Alyssa Kelley, and an error on a ball put in play by Shayla Hopkins.
Alexis Hamilton pitched Temple College Leopards to victory. The pitcher surrendered two runs on four hits over two and two-thirds innings, striking out one.
Buck took the loss for Cisco College Wranglers. The righty lasted six innings, allowing six hits and eight runs.
Maddy Gonzales started the game for Temple College Leopards. Gonzales went four and a third innings, allowing five runs on five hits and striking out four.
Sara Papizan led Cisco College Wranglers with two hits in four at bats.
Boyd went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Temple College Leopards in hits.
