Even though Cisco College Wranglers collected eight hits to McLennan Community College Highlanders six, they still fell 5-4 on Wednesday

Cisco College Wranglers took an early lead in the first inning.  Maddie Murley's sac fly scored one run for Cisco College Wranglers.

McLennan Community College Highlanders took the lead for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third Melayna Lopez homered on a 2-0 count, scoring three runs.

Reese Taylor took the win for McLennan Community College Highlanders. The righthander allowed eight hits and four runs over seven innings, striking out eight.

Bailey Buck took the loss for Cisco College Wranglers. Buck allowed six hits and five runs over seven innings, striking out six.

McLennan Community College Highlanders socked three home runs on the day. Lindsey Evans put one out in the fifth inning. Lopez had a homer in the first and third innings.

Buck led Cisco College Wranglers with three hits in four at bats.

Lopez went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead McLennan Community College Highlanders in hits. McLennan Community College Highlanders was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Mackie Adams made the most plays with 11.
