Aleman's Walk-Off Seals The Deal In Cisco College Wranglers Victory Over McLennan Community College Highlanders

Cisco College Wranglers took their game in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off home run at the end of the game to topple McLennan Community College Highlanders. The game was tied at 12 with Cisco College Wranglers batting in the bottom of the eighth when Lauren Aleman homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

Bats blistered as Cisco College Wranglers collected ten hits and McLennan Community College Highlanders tallied 11 in the high-scoring game.

McLennan Community College Highlanders opened up scoring in the first inning. Caitlyn Wong doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, Cisco College Wranglers tied things up at 12 when Peyton Vasquez singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.

Cisco College Wranglers notched six runs in the fifth inning. The offensive onslaught came from home runs by Trinity DudleySara Papizan, and Taylor Epperson.

McLennan Community College Highlanders scored four runs in the fifth inning. McLennan Community College Highlanders big inning was driven by a single by Lindsey Evans, a sac fly by Reese Taylor, and an error on a ball put in play by Sidney Campion.

Caitlyn Rangel was the winning pitcher for Cisco College WranglersRangel lasted six innings, allowing five hits and five runs while striking out six.  Michelle SoulesHeather Wineman, and Nikki Rameriez all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.

Cheyenne Floyd took the loss for McLennan Community College Highlanders. Floyd surrendered five runs on three hits, walking one.

Gracy Crafts started the game for McLennan Community College Highlanders. The righthander surrendered four runs on two hits over three and a third innings, striking out four.

Cisco College Wranglers tallied four home runs on the day. Aleman put one out in the eighth inning. Dudley had a four bagger in the fifth inning. Papizan had a long ball in the fifth inning. Epperson went for the long ball in the fifth inning.

Cisco College Wranglers tallied ten hits on the day.  Vasquez and Aleman each racked up multiple hits for Cisco College Wranglers.  Aleman and Vasquez all had three hits to lead Cisco College Wranglers.

McLennan Community College Highlanders totaled 11 hits in the game.  WongRosemary Rivera, and Evans each had multiple hits for McLennan Community College Highlanders.  Wong led McLennan Community College Highlanders with four hits in five at bats.
