Cisco College Wranglers Clinches Lead In Fifth Inning To Defeat Western Texas College 

Cisco College Wranglers snagged a late lead and defeated Western Texas College 10-8 on Sunday. The game was tied at four with Cisco College Wranglers batting in the top of the fifth when Ashley Vinton doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Cisco College Wranglers built a six-run lead in the sixth inning and then held off Western Texas College 's charge. Western Texas College scored four runs in the failed comeback on a single by Amelia Gideon, a single by Taighen Whitzel, and a single by Chanler Groves.

Cisco College Wranglers got things moving in the first inning, when Alexis Magallanezsingled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Cisco College Wranglers evened things up at four in the top of the fourth inning when.

Western Texas College scored four runs in the seventh inning.  Gideon, Whitzel, and Grovesall drove in runs in the frame.

Michelle Soules was the winning pitcher for Cisco College Wranglers.

Alyssa Ybarra started the game for Western Texas College . Ybarra lasted five innings, allowing 13 hits and nine runs while striking out four Michelle Soules started the game for Cisco College Wranglers. The pitcher went six and a third innings, allowing eight runs on eight hits and striking out seven.

Cisco College Wranglers tallied two home runs on the day. Myranda Billman had a homer in the fifth inning. Kadee Luna had a long ball in the fourth inning.
