Cisco College Wranglers Grabs Lead In Eighth Inning To Defeat Western Texas College

Cisco College Wranglers took the lead late in the game in a 6-3 victory over Western Texas College on Sunday. The game was tied at three with Cisco College Wranglers batting in the top of the eighth when Alyssa Hickman doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.

Cisco College Wranglers got things moving in the second inning.  Trinity Dudley hit a solo homer.

Caitlyn Rangel was the winning pitcher for Cisco College Wranglers. The pitcher went three innings, allowing zero runs on one hit and striking out three.

Katelyn Cifuentes took the loss for Western Texas College . The pitcher lasted eight innings, allowing eight hits and five runs while striking out six and walking one.

Heather Wineman started the game for Cisco College Wranglers. The righty surrendered three runs on four hits over five innings, striking out three and walking zero

Cisco College Wranglers smacked two home runs on the day. Dudley went deep in the second inning. Sara Papizan had a long ball in the third inning.

Cisco College Wranglers had eight hits in the game.  Maddie Murley and Hickman each collected multiple hits for Cisco College Wranglers.  Hickman and Murley each managed two hits to lead Cisco College Wranglers.
