Northeast Texas CC Captures Lead Early To Defeat Cisco College Wranglers

Cisco College Wranglers fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 14-3 loss to Northeast Texas CC on Saturday. Northeast Texas CC scored on a double by Pearl Perry and a single by Kailey Hancock in the first inning.

The Cisco College Wranglers struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Northeast Texas CC, giving up 14 runs.

Northeast Texas CC got things moving in the first inning. Haylee Wilson singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

Northeast Texas CC scored six runs in the third inning. Abby RussTrinity NeedhamKadi Downs Emma Farquhar, and Wilson all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Emily Cole led the Northeast Texas CC to victory in the pitcher's circle. The fireballer went five innings, allowing three runs on four hits and striking out four.

Summer Hasfurter took the loss for Cisco College Wranglers. The righty surrendered 11 runs on ten hits over two and a third innings, striking out two and walking one.

Kadee LunaAshley VintonPeyton Vasquez, and Maddie Murley each collected one hit to lead Cisco College Wranglers.

Northeast Texas CC racked up 15 hits on the day. Downs PerryWilsonHancock, and Farquhar each racked up multiple hits for Northeast Texas CC. Northeast Texas CC was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Hancock made the most plays with six.
