Cisco College football opened up Conference play against Blinn College, at Chesley Field in Cisco Saturday night. The Cisco College Wranglers took an early 7-0 lead against the Blinn College Buccaneers following a 50-yard catch and run by Jadarrius "Speedy" Thomas. The Wranglers extended their lead with a 13-yard touchdown pass from Christian Kaopua to Kye Stone. The Buccaneers stormed back with 19 unanswered points, before the Wranglers responded with a 41-yard touchdown catch by Quae Hill. The Wranglers' defense clinched the win by halting the Buccaneers drive on a crucial 4th and 3 with just 43 seconds left in the game. The 20-19 win over Blinn College will be put down as Head Football Coach Stephen Lee's first conference win for Cisco.

Their next game will be on the road at Trinity Valley Community College on Saturday, September 23rd at 7:00pm.
