This past weekend, the Wrangler baseball team split the series finale with the McLennan Highlanders.
After starting the game with 4.0 no-hit innings, the Highlanders finally cracked the hit column and took a 2-1 lead, the Wranglers fell 7-1.
Despite falling out to a 5-0 defecit in the second game, the Wranglers offense exploded for 8 unanswered runs. The game ended in favor of the ScoBoys, 10-8
The split keeps the ScoBoys in postseason contention. This week they will take on the first-place Weatherford Coyotes in a pivotal week.
