Wranglers split opening series at Grayson

The Wranglers split their opening series on the road Wednesday at Grayson

After dropping Game 1, 11-1, the Wranglers battled the heavy winds to defeat Grayson in Game 2, 25-23. It was a heavy offensive game from both sides as the wind was howling out to left field. The Wranglers entered the top of the 9th inning down 23-20. After a big three-run homerun from Tysaac Noland tied the game, Kenneth Dutka worked a 1-out walk. Josh Overbeek stepped up, who had previously been intentionally walked his previous at bat, hammered the first pitch he saw over the center field wall to give the Wranglers a two run lead. Austin Adair slammed the door shut with a perfect 9th inning to secure the win!
