Wranglers take day one of series with Hill College

Game 1

Hill 14

Cisco College snagged a late lead and defeated Hill 16-14 on Wednesday. The game was tied at 14 with Cisco College batting in the bottom of the sixth when Colton Moore doulbed on a 1-0 count, scoring one run. Hill scored ten runs in the fourth inning, but the Wranglers still managed to pull out the victory. Cisco college scattered 19 hits in the game. Will Pendergrass, Thomas Latham, Bobby Serfass, Sam Pierce, Blake Hubble, Nate Price, Moore, and Matt Crump all collected multiple hits for the Wranglers. 

 

Game 2

Cisco 11

Hill 9

Cisco College defeated Hill 11-9 on Wednesday thanks to a walk off home run. Cisco College was down 9-6 entering the bottom of the ninth inning. Cisco rallied for 5 runs, all with two outs to secure the comeback win. Trailing 9-8, Bobby Serfass hit a game clinching 3 run home run to finish the comeback.
