Wranglers Split the day with Vernon

Game 1 

Cisco College Wranglers snatched the lead late in the game in a 4-3 victory over Vernon College on Wednesday. The game was tied at three with the Wranglers batting in the top of the eighth when Bobby Serfass's sac fly scored one run for Cisco. Sam Mendez started the game for the Wranglers, allowing four hits and three runsover five and two-thirds innings, striking out seven. Westin Walls got the win for Cisco. The pitcher surrendered zero runs on one hit over two and a third innings, striking out one and walking zero. 

Game 2 

The Wranglers lost the lead late in a 5-2 defeat to Vernon College on Wednesday. Cisco College Wranglers knotted the game up at two in the top of the third inning. Cisco scored one run when Blake Hubble singled. Tanner Seider led Cisco with two hits in three at bats.
