Brock Kimball

Brock Kimball is in his second year as head coach of Cisco College women's basketball.

Kimball is coming to Cisco after spending a year on the Morehead State University staff. While at Morehead he developed transfer Jada Claude into an All-OVC performer while also earning a spot on the All-Newcomer Team, and multiple player of the week honors. 

Kimball’s stop in Kentucky came following a three-year stint as the head coach at Northwest Kansas Technical College in Goodland, Kansas. Overseeing the Mavericks' transition to the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference, he led Northwest Tech to the program's first NJCAA Region VI/KJCCC Championship appearance in 2020-21.

At Northwest Tech, Kimball guided four players to All-KJCCC honors with two players earning Region VI All-Region honors. In 2020-21, under Kimball's guidance, Lauryn Vieira became the first Maverick to twice earn All-KJCCC honors, garnering Second Team West Division honors in both 2020-21 and 2019-20 and earning co-West Division Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2019-20.

Prior to taking the reins at Northwest Tech, Kimball spent three seasons as an assistant coach at South Plains College under Cayla Petree, teaming with the Morehead State bench boss to lead South Plains to 65 victories and an appearance in the NJCAA Women's Basketball National Tournament Sweet 16.

Under Kimball's tutelage, four Texans earned Western Junior College Athletic Conference All-Conference honors, including the 2016-17 WJCAC Defensive Player of the Year Brittany Smith and co-WJCAC Newcomer of the Year Jasauen Beard.

Before joining Petree's staff at South Plains College, Kimball spent two seasons as a graduate assistant at Angelo State under current Texas head coach Chris Beard. While on the Rams coaching staff, he helped lead Angelo State to back-to-back winning seasons, including 28 wins and an NCAA Division II Sweet 16 appearance in 2014-15.

At Angelo State, Kimball guided Kenny Williams to 2014 NCAA Division II All-South Central Region First Team, Lone Star Conference Newcomer of the Year, and LSC First Team honors in Williams lone season with the Rams.

Before joining the coaching ranks, Kimball was a standout at McMurry University and Texas A&M-Kingsville, leading his teams to three National Tournaments and a pair of conference championships during his career.

Kimball earned a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies from McMurry University in 2014 and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction, Advanced Instructor from Angelo State.
