- Despite Strong Fight, Cisco College Softball Can't Top Highlanders
- Cisco College Softball's effort to come back from down five runs in the fourth inning came up just short, as they fell 13-12 to Highlanders on Wednesday. Cisco College Softball scored nine runs in the failed comeback on a sacrifice fly by Lauren Guerrero in the fourth, a double by Amanda Contreras in the fourth, a error in the fourth, a single by Contreras in the fifth, a double by Dionne Pierre in the fifth, and a double by Taylor Epperson in the seventh.
- Cisco College Softball was right in it until Highlanders doubled in the sixth inning.
- Highlanders took an early lead in the second inning. Genisa Carter tripled on a 0-2 count, scoring three runs.
- In the bottom of the fourth inning, Cisco College Softball tied things up at eight when an error scored three runs for Cisco College Softball.
- Cisco College Softball tallied five runs in the fourth inning. Guerrero, Contreras, and Eppersoneach had RBIs in the big inning.
- Emily Klanika earned the win for Highlanders. She surrendered 12 runs on 14 hits over six and two-thirds innings, striking out five. Carla Torres threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen. Torres recorded the last out to earn the save for Highlanders.
- Ileano Ortega took the loss for Cisco College Softball. She allowed 13 hits and 13 runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out two.
- Cisco College Softball launched one home run on the day. Sarah Welsh went deep in the first inning.
- Cisco College Softball collected 14 hits. Contreras, Trinity Dudley, Epperson, and Pierre all had multiple hits for Cisco College Softball. Dudley and Contreras each managed three hits to lead Cisco College Softball.
