- Cisco College Softball Takes A Tough Blow From McMurry University
- Cisco College Softball couldn't keep up with McMurry University and fell 8-2 on Tuesday.
- In the first inning, Cisco College Softball got their offense started. Sarah Welsh drove in two when she homered.
- McMurry University pulled away for good with four runs in the third inning. In the third Rachel Ripley homered on a 1-1 count, scoring three runs and Kollin Morris doubled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.
- Hope Schoeneman earned the win for McMurry University. She went seven innings, allowing two runs on six hits and striking out five.
- Ileano Ortega took the loss for Cisco College Softball. She went five innings, allowing six runs on seven hits, striking out two and walking one.
- Cisco College Softball hit one home run on the day. Welsh put one out in the first inning.
- Cisco College Softball racked up six hits. Amanda Contreras and Dionne Pierre all had multiple hits for Cisco College Softball. Pierre and Contreras each collected two hits to lead Cisco College Softball.
- McMurry University tallied nine hits on the day. Morris and Summer Quiroga all managed multiple hits for McMurry University.

- Cisco College Softball Fights Back In Loss To McMurry University
- Cisco College Softball fought back after falling down by five runs in the third inning. The comeback fell just short though, in an 11-9 defeat to McMurry University on Tuesday. Cisco College Softball tallied nine runs in the failed comeback. Sarah Welsh, Ileano Ortega, Blanca Perez, Yamilex Valdez, Lauren Guerrero, and Robin Rojas each picked up RBIs.
- Cisco College Softball was right in it until McMurry University singled in the sixth inning.
- McMurry University scored four runs in the third inning. McMurry University's big inning was driven by singles by Kollin Morris and Hope Schoeneman, a triple by Nina Hernandez, and an error on a ball put in play by Rachel Ripley.
- Madison Morgan led things off in the circle for McMurry University. She surrendered nine runs on 15 hits over six innings, striking out three.
- Allison Wilson toed the rubber for Cisco College Softball. She surrendered eight runs on seven hits over four innings, walking one. Erin Michael and Kayla Gray entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one and one-third innings and two-thirds of an inning respectively.
- Cisco College Softball tallied one home run on the day. Ortega went deep in the third inning.
- Cisco College Softball racked up 15 hits. Rojas, Ortega, and Guerrero all managed multiple hits for Cisco College Softball. Rojas led Cisco College Softball with three hits in four at bats.
- McMurry University totaled nine hits in the game. Hernandez and Schoeneman each racked up multiple hits for McMurry University. Hernandez went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead McMurry University in hits. McMurry University was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Ripley had the most chances in the field with eight.

Wrangler Softball (0-5) will be back in action Monday, Feb. 4, as they travel to Snyder, TX to take on Western Texas College in a double header.
